Paxmod was founded in Adelaide by Alan Agon and Mai-Chi Nguyen to build content moderation designed specifically for gaming, where banter, slang and fast-moving chat break generic tools.
Today, Paxmod protects millions of players across dozens of gaming platforms. Our AI models understand gaming culture, context, and language better than any generic moderation tool, ensuring that legitimate gameplay conversations flow freely while harmful content is caught instantly.
Alan Agon

Alan started Paxmod after seeing firsthand how toxic behaviour was damaging the gaming communities he loved. With a background in AI and machine learning, he leads the product and the moderation models.
Mai-Chi Nguyen
Co-founder & COO
Mai-Chi is an engineer by training, with First Class Honours from the University of Adelaide, and has worked across Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Seattle. She runs operations and the partnerships that bring Paxmod to studios.
