- How does the free trial work?
- Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial that includes 10,000 messages and every feature. A card is required to start. When the trial ends it rolls into the plan you picked, unless you cancel before then.
- Is there a free plan?
- No, but you can test Paxmod for free. Get a test key in one API call with no signup or card (100 messages, made for AI coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor: POST https://www.paxmod.com/api/v1/agent-key), or try single messages in the playground on our homepage. Then the 14-day free trial lets you test against your real chat before paying.
- What is a message credit?
- A Standard mode message uses 1 credit. An Advanced mode message, checked against your own plain-English policy, uses 2 credits. So Indie's 50,000 credits cover 50,000 Standard messages, or 25,000 Advanced ones, or any mix.
- What happens if I go over my included credits?
- Moderation keeps running and extra usage is billed per 1,000 credits: $0.40 on Indie and $0.25 on Studio. Chat never stops because you hit a number.
- Which plan should I pick?
- Indie suits small games, Roblox and Minecraft servers and Discord communities. Studio is built for live games with real player counts, and adds conversation context, image moderation, team seats and priority support. Above 350,000 Standard messages a month, Studio costs less than Indie with overage. Consider the real cost of toxic players on player retention and revenue.
- What does Enterprise include?
